As a progressive company, Speers Construction has the hydraulic oil in the machines changed to "Environmentally Friendly" oil when working in Environmentally sensitive areas.
We chose to use Chevrons Clarity Hydraulic Oil AW. Chevron Clarity Hydraulic Oil AW is engineered to be environmentally sensitive. The results of exhaustive bench and field testing have
made these products exceed the requirements of both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for non-toxicity and are inherently biodegradable. This
is just one of the ways that we demonstrate our commitment to an environmentally friendlier work site.
Many Recycling programs can be found throughout our company. From used oil, batteries, glycol, filters and scrap metal return programs in the shops to paper and cardboard recycling in
the offices.
Our environmental goal as a construction company is to incorporate good environmental practices in all aspects of our operations. We strive to minimize pollution in all operations and
